The basics
What is Ovvash?
Ovvash is a personal life-management app that helps you find life balance. It brings your habits, tasks, money, medicine, diet, study and goals into one place, with an optional AI assistant you can just talk to. Read more on our About page.
Which modules can I use right now?
From launch, Ovvash includes Habits, To-Do, Finance, Diet, Medicine, Study and Goals. You can turn on the ones you want and ignore the rest.
What's coming next?
More modules, such as Fitness and Journal, are on the way. We'll announce them in the app when they're ready. We don't promise exact dates, because we'd rather get them right than rush them.
What is the Ovvash Score?
Your Ovvash Score shows how your day went compared to your own plan. Every active module that had something planned that day counts equally, so habits don't outweigh your to-dos and your budget doesn't outweigh your meals. It's a quick, honest snapshot of your balance, not a judgment.
Is there a mobile app?
Ovvash works in your web browser on phones, tablets and computers today. Native Android and iOS apps are planned.
Plans and payments
Is Ovvash free?
Yes! The free Starter plan includes all modules. It just doesn't include AI features.
What do paid plans add?
Our paid plans (such as Growth) add AI features like Talk to AI, the AI chat page and receipt scanning, with higher daily limits on bigger plans. Current plans and prices are always shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Plans and limits may change over time.
How does the free trial work?
Eligible paid plans offer a 1-month free trial, and no payment card is required. You get one trial per plan. Growth is available to Starter users; higher plans need the plan directly below them paid for the set number of months first. During a trial you keep paying your current plan, and when it ends you fall back to that plan (or Starter if you had none). No surprise charges.
Who handles payments?
Paddle (Paddle.com) is our Merchant of Record. That means Paddle securely handles payments, taxes, invoices and receipts. We never see or store your full card details.
How do renewals and cancellations work?
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and you'll keep your paid features until the end of the billing period you've paid for. If we ever raise prices, you keep the price you signed up at for as long as your subscription stays active (if you cancel and come back later, current prices apply); new prices only apply to new subscribers. Details are in our Terms of Service.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase and on renewals. Just email support@ovvash.com or contact Paddle through your receipt. See our Refund Policy for the details.
Your data and privacy
Do you sell my data?
Not for a million dollars. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for ads. For AI, we use only paid AI provider plans, which don't train on your data, and we've never used free-tier or free-credit AI access — including for our own testing and prompt tuning. That goes double for your health and financial information. See our Privacy Policy.
How is my data kept safe?
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, private file storage, access controls, and limits on repeated login attempts. Our app servers and database run on DigitalOcean in the United States, uploaded files are stored privately with DigitalOcean in London (UK), and our website is hosted on Vercel. No system is perfect, but we take protecting your data seriously.
Can I export my data or delete my account?
Absolutely. Email support@ovvash.com from your account email and ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be deleted. We'll confirm it's really you and take care of it. You can also delete your AI chats yourself at any time with "Clear chat" or "Clear all chats".
AI features
How does the AI work?
When you chat with Ovvash AI, your message plus the app data it needs to answer (for example, today's tasks if you ask about your day) is sent to our AI providers to write a reply. Our primary provider is Anthropic (Claude), with Google (Gemini) as a backup. We use only their paid plans, which don't train on your data, and we've never used free-tier or free-credit AI access — including for our own testing and prompt tuning. Providers may keep requests briefly for abuse monitoring. The AI can suggest entries like tasks or expenses, but nothing is saved until you confirm it.
Is the AI's advice medical or financial advice?
No. AI can be wrong, and its replies are not medical, nutritional, financial or other professional advice. The same goes for the Medicine, Diet and Finance modules: they help you stay organized, but they don't replace a doctor or a financial professional. Always check important things with a qualified expert, and in an emergency contact your local emergency services.
Are there limits on AI use?
Yes. AI features have daily usage limits that depend on your plan (and the trial). Limits reset each day and may change over time.
What languages does the AI speak?
For now, AI features work in English only. More languages may come later.
What happens when I like or dislike an AI reply?
Your rating, any optional written feedback, and which AI model replied are saved so we can make the AI better over time.
How does receipt scanning work?
Snap or upload a receipt, and Ovvash reads it using Google Cloud Vision (OCR), then suggests an entry for you to review before saving. The image is stored in your account so you can look at it later.
