Overview
Ovvash is operated as a personal productivity platform. We collect information needed to create and secure your account, sync your data across devices, and provide the features you use. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
Account information: name, email address, password hash, profile photo, language and theme preferences, selected apps, and subscription or trial status. Content you provide: data you enter into Ovvash modules, such as habits, tasks, workouts, meals, expenses, study sessions, and feedback messages. Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type, device information, and interactions needed to keep the service secure and reliable. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive profile details permitted by that provider, such as your name, email address, and avatar.
How we use information
We use your information to provide and maintain Ovvash, authenticate you, sync your data, calculate features such as Ovvash Score, process subscriptions, respond to support and feedback, send account or security emails such as verification and password reset messages, and improve reliability and performance. We may use aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you for analytics and product improvement.
Cookies and similar technologies
Ovvash uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as theme and language, and protect the service. Essential cookies are required for authentication and core functionality. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly if essential cookies are disabled.
When we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Ovvash, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and analytics, under contracts that limit their use of your data. If you use Google or Facebook sign-in, those providers process information according to their own policies. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Ovvash and its users.
Data retention
We retain account and app data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Habit completion records and related daily tracking data older than one year may be deleted during routine maintenance, as described in our Terms of Service. If you delete your account or ask us to remove data, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can update your name, password, connected accounts, and many preferences from your Profile settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law.
Children's privacy
Ovvash is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International users
Ovvash may process and store information on servers located in countries other than your own. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
